STEP+ has these 1-Wire devices already installed on board |
STEP has two serial ports, serial0 and serial1 from TINI. None of TINI's serial ports has hardware flow control (yet) on our boards. Serial1 is jumpered for use as either wired RS232 or the Dallas 1-Wire network which connects to the RJ11 1-Wire connector and on-board 1-Wire devices such as DS1820 (on boards which include those such as STEP+. SBX2 adds a separate hardware UART which supports RS232 DCE, RS232 DTE, RS485 and IrDA (see SBX2 for details on optional serial I/O adapters). |
Control Area Net is a high speed serial network designed for real time control. Learn more. |
TINI supports booting from an external 29F or 49F series flash device. See tutorials for details. |

All our sockets boards are Euroboard sizes per ANSI/IEEE Std 1101-1987. Therefore you can house them in any of the hundreds of off-the-shelf Euroboard enclosures. We sell some. |
