This buzzer includes a fixed frequency oscillator (3100 ± 800 Hz). You can generate a tone just by turning it on - no need to use up processor resources to create a waveform. It's 12 mm in dia and uses 25 mA @ 5V when running. Can operate from 3-6 volts. You can pulse it briefly to produce beeps and clicks for keypad feedback. It's washable, after which you remove the protective tab, exposing the buzzer's sound port. Sound pressure level is 80/87 dB min/typ at 10 cm. The long pin is the positive terminal. |
