1-Wire Network Devices

The Dallas 1-Wire network is a low cost way to add sensing and control points to an embedded control network. 1-Wire and iButton devices use the same protocol. iButtons are enclosed in a stainless steel case, are intended to be portable, and have two terminals. 1-Wire devices are silicon chips in surface mount or through hole packages intended for mounting on a circuit board. 1-Wire devices can have multiple I/O pins.
